Saturday May 2nd

Reagan and I went shopping. She helped me pick out a few new outfits :) We spent 3hrs at the mall while Stephen finished putting up crown molding in the kitchen. It looks so good. I will post some before and after pictures when its complete.

She is also taking a bottle very well now. I have been pumping breast milk but was not able to find a bottle she would take. Stephen and I both tried to feed her but she would just fuss the entire time. I was getting nervous because when i leave her for a day i was thinking"how would she eat"? But with time and patience we finally got it!! She evens can do it by herself :) jk

April 28th Anniversary

Stephen and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. Roses, gift certificate and sushi were given to me by Stephen.

We are finishing up the remodeling of the kitchen. Already painted, received new appliances and today the coutnertops guys are here. They were cutting out the old and made a template for the new. Reagan slept most of the time (they were loud and i was surprise she didn't wake up).

After work we went to a lovely sushi restaurant. For those of you who do not know, but Stephen and I LOVE sushi. In Birmingham AL we had our first date at a sushi restaurant, he proposed and our wedding night were spent at this same restaurant.

We could not go back to AL for dinner so we settled on a nice place in Brighton. In this really nice restaurant the bathrooms DO NOT have a pull down changing table, so Reagan had to get a diaper change on the FLOOR (ewww gross, i had disinfectant spray that i sprayed around the area). By the time desert came she was out. Sleeping in my arms while we enjoyed the fried ice cream with whip cream and chocolate.

I finished my book "harvesting the hearts by Jodie Picoult" and started a new one "nineteen minutes by jodie picoult". I really love her books.

We are making our final decision on the landscaping, cant wait till we have a new yard. All the estimates/designs we received have been great. Its so hard to choose one but we need to make a decision, sometimes it seems bad to get so many different estimates because it makes it harder to decide. Looking forwarded to the weekend. Stephen and Gabe are working in the kitchen while Reagan and i are going shopping. She loves shopping!!

Week of April 20th

We had an awesome week. A few landscape companies came out to give us an estimate on our lawn, we have not seen all the designs yet. I am really looking forwarded to a new nice yard. The weather was so pretty this week, so Reagan and I went for walks around the neighborhood after work each day. She loves being out side! I put her in her bounce chair in the shade while we were outside working in the yard. Yesterday we went shopping at the out door mall in Brighton. Reagan slept most of the time but woke up at lunch time. We stopped in Buffalo Wild Wings for some lunch. After a long day of shopping Reagan and I went next door for a visit while Stephen played golf. Ate dinner then relax watching TV and reading my book "Harvesting the Hearts" by Jodie Pidcoult. She is an awesome writer, this is my second book. "sister keepsake" was the first book i read of hers YOU HAVE TO READ IT!!

2month doctor visit April 17, 2009

Reagan had her 2 month doctor visit. She weighs 11lbs 13oz and 2ft tall :) The doctor said she is "perfect". She ask me "what are you feeding her", i told her "just mommy's milk." She said "i would not call that milk more like cream!" I asked her my list of questions- one being

when do i start introducing baby food. She said at 4months-6months, when she is sitting up and holding her head up. Stephen was running a few minutes late (business call) but he arrived just in time for the best part, jk.

Shots- she has 3 shots and one oral. The lip curled up and the pain appeared then came the crying. The loud scream crying with her face being beat red. I picked her right after the last one and giving her hugs/kisses to ease the pain. The crying lasted for a little while. I was trying to get her dressed and ready to go, but she was not liking it. Not to mention it was "mid afternoon snack time". So i have a hungry, sleepy, in pain crying baby. She did receive cute bunny band aid on both her legs.

They have a private room where parents can go to nurse before leaving. So we got her dressed and headed to the room to nurse. After eating she was happy and sleeping. On the way home from the doctors visit we stopped at the grocery store. She loves sitting in her seat looking around at all the lights and people. Headed home and had a nice relaxing night.

Spring is here in MI

Springtime is here which means, onesies and socks...... I used love when my sister would put Ashlen in onesies with cute socks. She always look so cute, so i carried on the tradition.
